I want to use natural paints, but I am on a very strict budget - which paints should I use?

To start with, all our paints are actually superb value for money as they tend to cover better than conventional products and often go further too; But, we hear what you are saying - you want to spend as little as possible. Well ok, here are our recommendations for eco paint on a budget:

  • Walls and ceilings can be beautifully decorated in Biopin eco emulsion for an extremely reasonable £32.00 for 5lt. Currently only available in white although pastel shades will follow.
  • Woodwork around your home such as floors, skirting, doors and frames, worktops and shelves etc are easiest and cheapest to maintain if they are bare unpainted wood. Of course they need some protection for which we would recommend Treatex hardwax oil . It goes a very long way, is easy to maintain and very hard-waring. If however you have painted wood that cant be sanded back or you just prefer a painted finish, the our Eggshell paint makes an excellent choice. We would recommend ordering an off white colour as they tend to cover better and show up the dirt less readily.

  • With those three products, you can spruce up your home for very little cash indeed!
